This is an information page on Back orifice. You must read through this page carefully since back orifice is a very powerful progarm that runs on your computer and it just simply open a back door leting hacker (or even me) controling your computer! Back orifice is also known as Bo, Back orifice (bo) is a very dangerous trojan.... Please read on below for more information on Back orifice. -Back Orifice is a remote administration system which allows user/users to control a computer across a tcp/ip connection using a simple console or GUI application (like a remote controler). On a local LAN or across the internet. Another word for Backorifice is BO. BO can even gives its user more control of the remote Windows machine than the person at the keyboard of the remote machine has. eg. :

-The Bo file can be any name (because you could rename it) the .exe is about the size of 122k . When you run it, it disappear on where you run it. The file moves itself and rename itself. There are no way you could ever find it again. It disappear but does not mean it's gone. IT's still running in background. Every time you start windows it load up but you will not be able to see it on the task or close program window.

-This is how you could check weather you have or don't have Backorifice running on your windows machine. First goto ms-dos promte while you are connected to the internet and type "netstat -a -n" what you are looking for are the TCP or UDP 0.0.0.0:xxxx (where x can be any number) if you see any number eg. 0.0.0.0:12345 or 0.0.0.0:1234 any number at the back but not all 0. The chance you havebo is 70%. Note: ICQ have a number similar to this so shut down ICQ before you do netstat -a -n. .

-Now, you could also check back orifice with an updated virus scanner. eg: Norton antivirus, AVP, PC-cilian

-If you think you have backorifice, just relax and download either one of the progarms below. They will do the job.

-If you got this progarm in a website that you doesn't trust, your ip address may be traced down for world wide uses. Your could end up 200 hackers over on your computer. So remember to cut off your internet connection and reconnect to make your ip address different and don't use icq or another things. So no one knows your ip and you are online. For even more safe, just download the bo eliminator (below) or just download bo cleaner (above) which already has bo eliminator attach to it.

-You may say "Kewl..... I have removed it" but now every thing is back to normal. I have bo once, and I can nolonger play my faveroite game "subspace" and I also know some guys who can't play diaoble online as well...... Just couldn't reconise their version while they play it on the net. So becareful. The way to make your selfs to be able to play those games again, I would say you have to reinstall windows.

- Don't find me for more help since I am not an bo fixer expert. So go to channel #backorifice on mIRC and they are expert and problems should sove there. How ever, you may watch out they actually look through your computer as well :) But as I know, they don't do bad things.

-For full protection against these trojan and virus, I sugguest you to get AVP virus and trojan scan. And also remember to update it like once per month.
